Who is he?

Stefano Longo, one of the founding members of GoodGoing!, studied Political Science at the University of Turin. He also has several master courses under his belt as well as a 6-month secondment in New York in the headquarters of EY Marketing Global. With three decades of experience in global software companies, Systems Integration and Consultancy in managerial roles, he can rely on a significant know-how in sales, marketing and people management. 2013 marked a turning point in his life when he decided to put himself to the test as an entrepreneur for the first time.

His primary task has always been that of understanding the needs of people in order to help them achieve their goals. Just as in sales, this is the ultimate purpose of consulting. His distinctive characteristics include:

An aptitude for problem-solving supported by a strong capacity of analysis and synthesis

Managerial skills acquired in major management consulting and service companies such as Ernst & Young (now EY), international System Integrators such as Atos and global software companies such as Adobe

Experience in launching local and international start-ups in the e-commerce sector (Top Italian Wine), software technologies sector (MobileBridge), business-oriented services (Gate, the first company to sell online tax services in 1997) and services for individuals (GoodGoing!)

Professional commitment as an advisor, tutor, public speaker and networker for "his" start-ups

His role at GoodGoing!

Following the economic crisis in recent years, which has upset the lives of several managers who have been left without work and support, Stefano assists aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals aiming to make the transition to entrepreneurship. He offers a concrete contribution in the preparation of business plans and an experienced approach to the implementation and modelling of marketing strategies.

By analysing the core of a business idea, he evaluates strategic positioning, existing and future competitors, potential sales channels and any unique know-how, while also supporting clients’ search for financing options.

He frequently conducts meetings with entrepreneurs and decision-makers to promote the importance of innovation and the cost of "not deciding" in terms of the loss of opportunities and the accumulation of delays.

He writes and occasionally publishes articles on the impact of Mobile, AI or Blockchain technologies.

Naturally, he has a distinct knowledge in the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and the digital world, start-ups and non-profit organizations.
